This is the privacy policy for BRUX ("BRUX," "we," "us," or "our"), a LinkedIn ghostwriting service for keynote speakers. We respect your privacy and want to be clear about what data we collect, why, and how to remove it.
1. What we collect
When you sign up for the BRUX free trial or a paid package, we collect:
Your name and email address
The material you submit for ghostwriting (stage transcripts, voice notes, rough ideas, written drafts)
Your LinkedIn profile URL (only if you choose to share it with us)
Payment information (processed by our payment provider, Stripe — we do not store your card details)
Communication between us (emails, Loom videos, occasional Slack messages if you opt in)
2. What we do not collect
We never ask for your LinkedIn password. We never log into your LinkedIn account.
We do not track you across other websites.
We do not sell your data to third parties, ever.
3. Why we collect it
To draft LinkedIn posts in your voice based on your material
To communicate with you about your subscription, drafts, and account
To send the free trial posts and follow-up communications
To improve our service over time (anonymized, aggregated only)
4. How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as you are an active client, plus 12 months after your last interaction with us. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing hello@brux.site.
5. Third-party services we use
Stripe — payment processing. Their privacy policy applies: stripe.com/privacy
Google Fonts — typography on this site. Google may log your IP address when fonts load.
Magic Post — the tool we use for paid clients to draft and schedule posts. When you connect LinkedIn via OAuth, Magic Post's privacy policy applies: magicpost.in/privacy
Google Analytics — we may use this in the future. If we do, we will update this policy.
6. Your rights
You can request at any time:
A copy of the data we have about you
Correction of inaccurate data
Deletion of your data (we will action within 30 days)
Email hello@brux.site for any of the above. We respond within 5 business days.
7. Cookies
We use minimal cookies — only what is necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. If you arrived here from a cold email, the link contains a unique identifier so we can track which campaigns generate signups; that data stays with us and is not shared.
8. Data security
We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS, encrypted databases) and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to minimize risk. If you discover a security issue, please email hello@brux.site so we can address it quickly.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a material way, we will email active clients at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) will be posted without notice.
